How Taster started?

Taster’s CEO Anton Soulier cooks, eats and dreams food.

His faith in food was challenged when working in his previous role in the restaurant industry. He saw a lack of effort from restaurants and, as a result, disappointed customers.

Anton knew something had to change, so he envisioned a digital food court of authentic street food brands, each designed specifically for high-quality delivery. But Anton couldn’t do this alone. He needed a partner to complement his vision.

In 2017, Anton convinced French-Vietnamese Chef Mak to help him create the ultimate bo bun, a dish adored by Parisians. They settled in a tiny kitchen in the 11th arrondissement. Within days, Mission Saigon received so many spring roll orders that Anton was considering opening up a spring roll factory! But thankfully enough, he stuck to his dream and Taster was born.
